We work with individuals and groups to help them improve their business writing skills. We'll teach you the traits of business writing, so that you will be able to write clear and concise emails, reports, presentations and proposals.
In addition to the traits of good writing, we'll also go over punctuation, grammar and style.
Email Writing
Email is so simple, yet messages are often misunderstood. This leads to lost time and lost business. Remember, people judge you and your business on how well you communicate.
We'll teach you how to write emails that won't be misunderstood by applying the seven traits of good writing to emails.
Management Writing
All of our writing courses cover the seven traits of good writing, but the management writing seminar takes it one step farther. We cover employee evaluations, position statements, policy statements and application follow-ups. We also show you how to manage team writing and electronic communication.
The "higher" you go, the better your communication skills should be. Don't let your writing get in the way of your career.
Accent Improvement
It's no fun when people don't understand what we're trying to say. We know that. We've been there. While it might not be easy to "lose" your "accent" 100%, we can surely help you to be better understoo.d
We'll cover theory and we'll also practice (a lot). We'll cover word stress, sentence stress, intonation, thought groups and blending/linking/reduction. We'll also review and help you master the individual vowel and consonant sounds.
